Hotel Montchapet Dijon Centre

I was expecting some, special touch, but instead got a stuffy room with outdated facilities. The shower was ridiculously small, and the air conditioning was broken-who wouldn't be overheated? A complimentary upgrade would have been nice, but alas, this hotel seems to prioritize the plebeians over guests of distinction.

Clean modern rooms, big enough for a family, good location, kind staff (with humor), speaking english.

Wi-Fi was reliable, but the off-site parking was inconvenient for us.

All in all, it's ideal place that has pleasant and welcoming staff at the reception desk. The room is neat and newly decorated with exceptionally comfortable bed.

The bathrooms are a little small.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dijon.

I thought that the staff were really friendly and helpful, they were a joy. Our room, on the third floor, was really nice and the hotel is within easy walking distance of this lovely town.

No lift was difficult when you have suitcases to carry.

The photos don't match the reality, with the hotel's appearance being misleading. The small shower struggled with hot water, while a stinky toilet nearby affected the air quality. Noise from the sidewalk was an issue, especially with the bed positioned awkwardly against the wall.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He advised us of facilities in the local area.

Road outside very noisy.At the moment the city is dug up ready for na tram, do not fo without a sat nav!

The price-location for the Rail Station and Town centre was good. Hotels closer to the station were disproportionately more expensive

I stayed for 1 night in a Comfort Double Room. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were cute and helpful. Parking on the street was super easy, and I enjoyed a nice walk to the city center.

Entrance and lobby as well as basement floor could need a refurbishment but as said, rooms, bed etc. was all brand new and top.

Nice family hotel, just 10 minutes walking from the city center. Quiet and comfortable, although the room was small. Good for city trip since it is close and not expansive. Continental breakfast is not expensive (6.5 euro/person) and includes fresh bakery and coffee, jam and butter. Free wi-fi.

Too short bath curtain, which does not close the shower completely. As a result - every time there is a pool on the floor after the shower.

The beautiful charm of this hotel is improved with its clean, renovated rooms and a warm welcome from the staff, making it a good choice for travelers.

The room was comfortable. It was good to have an elevator to get upstairs. The view from our room window was sensational. The hotel has a charm all of it's own and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful.

The only thing I did not like was that the hotel is quite a distance from the village centers, this was not pointed out on the website, otherwise the hotel is wonderful.

Good value for money

Hotel reception was shut on Saturdays until 5.00pm.Although this is mentioned on the booking form it does not appear until right at the end. We were shocked and have never stayed anywhere,part from youth hostels forty years ago, where you don't have access to your room until such a late time. Also this contradicted earlier information about the hotel which states an earlier access time to rooms. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone staying there at weekends for this reason.- otherwise it is good value for money
